A short, easy to understand book, but with some very good tips. Excellent book for a beginner or intermediate level player to learn more about poker, it has definitely improved my play, and from that perspective, it pays for itself.
All 52 tips are short, just a couple of pages, and so are free from waffle and just get to the point/5. I received this book as a gift, along with a subscription to Card Player Magazine. I have to say that like the magazine, this book is GREAT. I am fairly new to poker, but my results improved almost immediately after I incorporated the strategies from Shulman's book.
